Online Privacy Policy
At Highline Capital Management, L.P. we recognize the importance of protecting the Limited Partners’ privacy. As such, the Partnership, the General Partner and the Management Company have policies in place to maintain the confidentiality and security of our Limited Partners’ information.
Categories of Information We May Collect
In the normal course of business, we may collect the following types of information:
- Information you provide in the subscription documents and other forms (including name, address, social security number, date of birth, income and other financial-related information)
- Data about your transactions with us (such as the types of investments you have made and your account status)
How We Use Your Information That We Collect
Any and all nonpublic personal information received by the Partnership, the General Partner and the Management Company with respect to the Limited Partners who are natural persons, including the information provided to the Partnership by a Limited Partner in the subscription documents, will not be shared with nonaffiliated third parties which are not service providers to the Partnership, the General Partner and/or the Management Company without prior notice to such Limited Partners. In the normal course of business, we may disclose the kinds of nonpublic personal information listed above to nonaffiliated parties for everyday business purposes such as servicing and administering products and services on our behalf, processing transactions, maintaining account(s) and/or responding to court orders and legal investigations, or reporting to credit bureaus, and as otherwise permitted by law. Such service providers include but are not limited to any administrator, the auditors, any prime broker and the legal advisors of the Partnership and such information will only be disclosed to service providers to the extent necessary to perform their services. Additionally, the Partnership, the General Partner and/or the Management Company may disclose such nonpublic personal information as required by law, including without limitation, the disclosure that may be required by the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism (USA PATRIOT) Act of 2001. If the Partnership chooses to dispose of any Limited Partner’s nonpublic personal information that the Partnership is not legally bound to maintain, then the Partnership will do so in a manner that reasonably protects such information from unauthorized access.
The same privacy policy will also apply to the former Limited Partners who are natural persons.
Confidentiality and Security
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about our customers to those employees and agents who need to know that information in order to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your nonpublic personal information.
